Regarding the wildfire, pretty soon the chinese or china based western brands will get in on the nc500 action, then we'll see even better prices. 🙂

BTW, why doesn't the stock version have the HXR regulators, just the custom buffer one? I would think the stock opamp, good regulators is the one to get.

Only problem is the Chinese still need to buy the amps from Hypex. I think the pricing is already pretty much rock bottom without running a charity organization.

If you're talking about Boggit's amp, you can always put the LM4562 opamp in the socket of the upgraded buffer board if you think it's best.

if you want to sell a hybrid version please look at my 6n16 buffer.
This compact design can use the hypex power supply, goes up to 100khz, has very low noise and distorsion.

I have build a view with ucd400oem and they sound also great.
