You can reach the 900W output power if You keep the 33kohm resistor, and increase the input level....
The original desing has the gain, about 34, so You need approx 1,85Veff for 1000W/4ohm.

You just increase gain not power, you can find maximum power with increase input level to the clip, output voltage without clip give you maximum output power.

There is the XFG-1 on Your picture. That gives the input of the amplifier, I guess. Increase the output level of this generator. It looks now 1Vpeak. Try to set 1.5Vpeak, and check the output power...

if You mean the bias, I wuold not go over 20-30mA.
