TPA3116D2 Amp

(...) But the only problem is that when I use the converter to power the Bluetooth module I get a strange noise and buzzing sound. (...)

To avoid the ground loop, you may try something like a Traco TEL 5-1211, as it provides galvanic isolation. At least with a Dolry HiFi Stone hooked to a DTA-1 this eliminates any noise and buzzing completely while connected to the same 12V source.

Edit: The TEL 5-1211 is for 9-18V in, the TEL 5-2411 is 18-36V in and 5V out.

If those 6.3V caps explode, other components may die as well & your listening will be curtailed 😱

Thanks for the concern 🙂 So far I've been checking the temp of the chip and 6.3v caps. Playing 6 hours straight with decent volume, they are not even warm. I am not going more into the discussion of 6.3v thing. I'll post more anyway if something good or bad happens. Hope my patience pays off after lstening to the amp for more hours :xfingers: 😀

What's the closest-to-OSCON at 35V/220uF or higher?

The "beloved" OSCON caps aren't available in the higher capacitance values above 25V. If I'm using a 24V power supply, seems like I'd want to go with a 35V (or higher) capacitor.

Any suggestions?

Why don't you just wire a couple OSCONs in parallel? If using the YJ or Sure amps, feed the leads of the top-mounted cap through the thru-holes and solder on a parallel OSCON from the bottom. The bottom cap will need a bit of space from the board to access soldering both together with a fine pencil soldering tip to the thru-hole eyelets. Maybe these:

By the way, here's some interesting reading on Panasonic OSCONs:

It is marketing literature from Panasonic, but it may explain why most who have tried these find them to improve the performance of TPA31xx Class D amps. Nichicon and others also offer conductive polymer-type caps in radial thru-hole and SMD mount versions that are probably worth trying.

Please wear safety goggles when playing with an "open" amp and taking a peek. BTW it will cost you your amp, both BG NX HiQ and your speakers in worst case scenario. If that is called "paying off" then it's OK.

Hello!
Does anybody knows the speakers output +/- order for the green board?
LOUT and ROUT but where is the right + and -?
Thank you!

Ydbz?
input connector and mute sd connector on left side, so looking at it from chipside: +,-,+,- (I think all 3116 boards are like that or should be LOL, 3116chip pin-layout, if your green board is Advance Controls ac1103 tpa3110 eg, tpa3110 is + - - +)
