I am not sure what you mean. Is this a question or only a confirmation?

I just tried it with another extern DAC with USB-input from my laptop.
It worked ok. This had a light that showed that the input was ok.

ok, but what you need me hepl ??

im not sure what you want ??

i think you need it ??

see image !!

Peter please some questions to understand the problem:

1) After switch-on you see text on lcd ?
2) After switch-on inside the chassie you see the light of 4 or 5 leds ?
3) You have tested only USB input or other sources ?
4) The heatsink of the output stages are hot ?

Can you chat with skype using webcam ?

1) Yes
2) 5 leds: 3 in the middle and 2 close to the optical input
3) USB does not work so far.
4) Well about 50 deg C, i guess.

I connected my SqueezeBox just now and everything works just fine!
Both via the Pre and directly to the Poweramp! Both Coax & Optical.
Fantastic sound, dynamic, good separation. Must run in.

Just now i am a happy guy. Thank you for your help so far.
I guess i need to buy another transport for my CD's.

Just tested the LL passive output with a temporary connector done with IC socket support. As I use my DAC to directly power NCore amplifier, very bad result, low gain, no punch, I must put much gain in the digital output of the Trinnov to have enough sound and I got distortion. These passive output are only usable I you use a preamp (just sold my Pass 2,5).
So I will come back to my bugged opamp output overheating, with my bugged firmware that I cannot upgrade and only optical and usb input working, for almost 1000 USD. Thank you Ganghao, you can keep your connector

Have you removed the I/V jumps before connect the Lundahl transformers ?

Glad to know that, thank you. I received my DAC ready to listen and I ordered the new output stages to mount, but no instructions with jumps (and no connectors to plug in the DAC board either...). Now the gain is OK, the sound is different from opam although it is difficult to be precise as you cannot compare directly at the same level. I will say you have less punch and a little more fluidity. I don't found the LL version far superior and I think the quality price ratio not very favourable. By the way I also received usb Amareno board. Is there jumps to modify to use it or just plug in the central connector ?

It seems that nobody else cares to help you.

As delivered, the Amanero is USB bus-powered. This is OK, but then you must not feed 3.3V from the DAC to the Amanero header pin 9. On the ver 1 DAC this means no jumper on J3.

But ideally, you should use the DAC's clean 3.3V supply, and for this you need to disable USB power to the Amanero, by de-soldering and removing one of its regulators, as explained here -

Thank you very much, I will stay with bus-powered. I will not try to de-solder anything, having already ruined coaxial and AES BU inputs in de-soldering bad lnv7219 (although I- and many others - paid for good ones...). I don't want to ruined the Amanero board too... As I bought Amanero module from Quanghao, I could have expected, if this modification improves sound quality, that it would be done before sending it to me. But I am probably dreaming...
Another point, the 20 point connector is free, unsoldered despite it is necessary. Am I supposed to solder to the board on the reverse side?
