This payment belong to the VSSA Through-Hole for the diyaudio user "dady"

Royber $150

Dine1967 $26.80
Gusto142 $55.50

metallicus69 $54.50

However, initially I paid $94.50 but 40.00 were refunded because I paid too much! If he wanted to disappear with all the money, I would say he would have kept the extra 40.00; that is why, although it seems to me something rotten here, I am not ready to press the charges...Maybe I am wrong!

I seem to remember someone wanted to buy a larger quatity of the special transistors PMI offered with the boards
they may be older genuine NOS, and could be quite rare

PMI rejected and stated that he would only supply them with boards
I thought that was a great service

and now this
it is a mystery

If we all have payed with PayPal you can't disappear with the money. If people are complaining cause they didn't recieve the good PP pays the money back and PP claims it back from the seller.
metallicus69 do you know zelfbouwaudio.nl ?

I was quite hopeful because Peter was such a great guy to deal with. I am not so sure now. An update of his situation would not take much effort and if some thing catastrophic did happen then i would happy to forego what i have paid.

Interesting turn of events, hum, don't know how long you should wait before reporting a fraud. I would not wait too long and I'd check to see if there is an expiry time and when that would be. Could also flag a forum moderator and ask for advise on actions to take.

Recently, I have reported a fraud to VISA and they acted immediately. I got my $ refunded with only one phone call. Since my Paypal goes through VISA, I'd guess they would take the action, not Paypal. Let me know how it works out for you guys.

Good Luck guys

You and me both quan. The individual fees for me at least are not a big deal, but the total value is stacking up which isn't good unless something catastrophic has happened.

I think everyone should email PMI if possible and if no response in a week, feel free to report to Paypal.

Marc, you can get refunds from Paypal in 45 days after payment. That means we are a bit late, as most of us paid in mid November. I had my first impulse to claim on paypal, but I am a human being and I am impressed by others misfortunes, so reading that something terribly bad happened to PMI made me give up that thought. Sadly, no news is bad news in this case. Additionally, I had some US shipments delayed in around same time slice, so I thought it can be some postal issues.
@PMI, if you are still around, a small sign of life, like "Guys, (please) be patient!" would be enough to calm down the spirits here. I still believe you will show up someday and everything will be sorted out!

I tried to open a reclamation to Paypal but this must be in the next 45 days, anyway they investigate the process. Maybe Peter is seriously ill and is impossible to respond. Some years ago I transfer some money to a guy from china but him never claim the payment to paypal and the amount returned to my own.
The frustration was that I tried to get some VSSA to LC and the proper Peter persuades me by private mail in get his boards. In my case I consider is a few quantity of money if we compare with a sickness state for him. Life has this kind of views and optical positions are our strategy for be happiness.

In my opinion the list should be gathered by private messages and dealt in more private manner.

I am afraid that the list will be quite long.

my 2 cents,

Hi mettalicus,
arf sad for papypal refund, I would be the first pleased if good even news came from PMI.

I don't have a problem with the list made here on public, I'm sure PayPal will respond with action, if all the people affected appeal to them, it might not result in a refund, but it will force PayPal to take action.
They are very serious about this kind of situation.

Take me for an example I'm visiting DIYAUDIO.c very often.I've organize an groupsbuy and the rest of the family doesn't know this.Collect money for it and in the mean time I become ill and have to go to hospital and it's serious the last thing to think about is DIYAUDIO.com especially for the family cause they don't know anything.
Just a tought

I agree with Raj1, This list must keep in the public domain. Sadly the GB was idea of Peter and we are talking in his thread.
Mister Meanman What a family are you talking about. Explain yourself better. If any family exist and he is ill better for him. And If he is ill bad new for us.
For another viewpoint, if we are Thousand in the Group Buy, paypal say that the business is individual, not collective. Nobody of Paypal going to make anything different cause further we are hundred.
In the list I can count only 12 members and the amount of a little more that 500 U$ dollars.

I Re-agree again with Raj1 because the confidence and trust we have in the Diyaudio is almost blind and every body, must to know there are some risks.
In one future somebody of us will take more care in the hour of send money to somebody.

I mean we all are visiting this website for our hobby but that doesn't mean my wife or others does know that for example.Take me for an example; I'm running a FetZilla groupsbuy collect money for that. What if something bad is happening to me I become sick or in the worst case I die?No explaning will follow cause no one else knew about my groupsbuy result money gone .
Take for example our audio friend Nordic he did leave the scene never get an explanation what happened till we heard he had cancer.
