How better is a Turntable compared to a CD?

All the debate about the cost of gear and what is good or not good is flawed, so is the assumption that certain nationalities fit certain types or lacks certain skills. Too much of that here.

What is the profound difference on the signal from a TT than from any digital source..??
I think it is not very realistic of you to aspect every one uses the right language and examples that you would prefer.

It would be better that you would try to turn it in the direction you want it to go that is more constructive.

As you've seen in some other threads, doing design correctly to achieve success in demonstrably audible factors is bound to cause howls and sneering from "audiophiles," especially those who have not designed so much as a volume control knob. Props to the fellow who understands the obvious, the flak notwithstanding.

Those who know how , will always work for those who know why .... :headshot:

Perhaps not yours, but mine do. As DF96 has pointed out, an understanding of circuits and measurements can be useful to have before talking about things involving them.

I don't have Tubes thank god!!! I use all pure and goody SS!
What I don't understand is that you refuse to listen to vinyl because of its technical performance, however you listen to outdated tube gears that won't certainly match more modern SS state design.

I said that on one of my first posts here to this thread....check out the review that the acclaimed Top of the line Lamm tube amp has gotten on Sterophile.
Reviewer explains a little bit and shares thoughts on Tube gears at high level, vs SS at the same level of performance!
pretty fun reading!
