I really thank you, and I'm sorry for you!
I sent shield. Tomorrow, I will send you the plug and some wire jawsc!
I look forward to early chassis, to send to you!
thanks again!
What is chassis means what for it ? i don't have problem with chassis ? You mean I/V stage board? If you remember there was a wrong polorized capacitor on board.I wait for it also.
Hi bertchai!
I fault this place, please help me fix it! take a look at this picture!
Thank you much
Hi Quanghao, have taken out the resistor at C** and is now all good.
Just noting another thing. All transistors and IC/opamp in all Shunt reg are running pretty hot. Can't really touch by hand..... any way to bring the temperature down to prolong their life?
Cheers Mate
Herbert

ok, thanks
New firmware ver. 46a
Here the new firmware, final test still to complete
1) solved
2) done
3) solved, now the volume range is 0Db to -127Db
4) ????
5) done
6) done
7) depend by remote when it repeat command
8) solved
9) I am thinking about
10) No space on lcd
11) No enought buttons to use in setting menu
12) It need an HW change
13) I can create a firmware with standby function but in this case is necessary a separated transf. for the controller
14) It is very complex
15) Not possible with ES9018 DAC remap
16) done
17) For DSD tracks display DSD32 at 2.8MHz and DSD64 at 5.6MHz
-------------------------------------
1) Cannot save the volume level at 100%
2) Feature proposal : Save the input selection (other than USB).
3) Bug : Do not mute on high efficiency loudspeakers system when level at 1% (for example, remains very loud on VOTT).
4) Feature proposal : Insert a white-on-blue bargraph on the display for the level (while inverting the displayed characters on the same line to blue-on-white), very usefull with the remote.
5) Hide the blinking cursor
6) Display "192kHz" (now "191kHz")
7) Bug: Under certain circumstances pressing a button does not get handled. When pressing another button the last one gets executed (like pressing Vol- and then pressing Vol+, Vol- is actually performed)
8) Bug: While in settings mode if the input sample rate changes the display gets overridden with the changed sample rate (which shouldn't show in settings mode) while still being in settings mode
9) Personal feature proposal: Something I would like to have but nothing to complain about: auto dim/turn off the display after a timeout - reactivate it when the remote control is operated (and ignoring the first button that was pushed to turn it back on)
10) Feature: A way to display the installed firmware version
11) Personal feature proposal: The mute button should always be mute. No reuse of this button in any other display mode. It is kind of an emergency button and it should not matter what display mode you are currently in.
12) Feature proposal : Add a led on the front panel which blink when pressing on a button on the remote. Maybe that pins are already available for this on the controller pcb.
13) Feature proposal: standby and trigger out options (Quanghao is working on this)
14) Feature proposal: allow microprocessor to accept commands via amanero i2c interface - this should allow control of the DAC via a PC source and through this, android app.
15) Make Phase +/- work when playing via the USB input.
16) Save the Soft/fast roll off and Cut off frequencies the same way at the input save(preset) and Volume preset.

Hi quanghao,
I didn't get any answer from you.You must be very busy. But i'm also busy and i can't wait any more.I have to make plan.
So please won't send any more parts to me.Because I don't want to pay more shipping payment and i want to send dac (with all parts) back to you next week.
Please write your shipping adress clearly and mobile phone number and all other shipping informations ?
I paid to you :
Dac: 750$
Shipping : 180$ ( probably you won't pay it back to me )
Shield: I will send it back to you later when it will arrive to me.
I will say to you shipping cost. Will you pay it to me also with dac cost or am i have to pay it ?
My paypal mail is : " yildiray@yahoo.com "
Thank you for your effort again.I wish you success in business life.
My best

I'm sure there will be some way for you to fedexl lading.
So now the 6 h light in Vietnam.
I send you 2 x Iv and input, and some wire!

you go up resistors R4, R 5 to 15R or 22R, or two resistors connected in parallel 33 Ohm. present on the PCB R4, R5 = 10 ohm, current shunt = 60mA.
To reduce the flow and temperature of the shunt. See Photos!

Many Thanks Quanghao. Will try very soon.

Hi Quanghao,
present R4,R5 = 10ohm, current shunt = 60mA.
then R4,R5 = 15 ohm, current shunt = ? mA
🙂
Hi Quanghao,
present R4,R5 = 10ohm, current shunt = 60mA.
then R4,R5 = 15 ohm, current shunt = ? mA
🙂
0.6V / 10 ohm = 60mA
0.6V / 15 ohm = 40mA
Hi Andrea, could you modify the code so that it is able to display realtime DSD sampling rate on the LCD?
DSD22.4 or DSD512 (22.4MHz)
DSD11.2 or DSD256 (11.2MHz)
DSD5.6 or DSD128 (5.6MHz)
DSD2.8 or DSD64 (2.8MHz)
DSD22.4 or DSD512 (22.4MHz)
DSD11.2 or DSD256 (11.2MHz)
DSD5.6 or DSD128 (5.6MHz)
DSD2.8 or DSD64 (2.8MHz)

yes, now there is
DSD128 5.6MHz
DSD64 2.8MHz
but
DSD512 and DSD256 not supported by Amanero

Great! Thank you!
DSD512 and DSD256 files are very rare, BTW.
