Nice clean build!
True words !!
BTW, did you consider snubber caps on the rectifier diodes?
Thanks guys 😀
WalterW: I couldn't find a red softstart board when I built this and it actually still annoys me a little 🙄 I don't think I'll switch it though - I have too many other projects waiting.
Audiosan: Yes, but there is isolation (nylon bushings) that you can't see to prevent shorted turns (I guess that is what you are worried about?)
Ticktock: The rectifiers are soft-recovery so I skipped the snubbers 🙂
/U.
Edit: Bob: They are just angled 1/4" connectors, so yes they are removable. They make the cable routing a little neater (not that I'll win any prizes here 😉) when using stiff/thick cable.

谢谢!Thanks!BL Mu, 这是非常好看!
For those non-native speakers, translated would be, "BL Mu, That is sweeeeeeeet looking!"
Nice job!
Those soft start boards were cheap money on ebay when several sellers had them. Now they've doubled in price.
There's a guy in the forums here that makes similar ones that are real nice.

O.K. now I can see. Like these from Mouser. Nice idea and will come in handy on a future build.
Thanks
I think those holes are 7.5 mm spacing. Phoenix connectors look nice

BTW, do you happen to know if are there any "Aleph 1.2 / Aleph 5 style" kits available?

I just know of this project some mates did in Germany:

haha, I just keep clicking on the last picture...up ...and down...up...and down...

Yeah, I have to admit I don't know why it happens this way.
Do you have a source for that fine chassis ?😎BTW, do you happen to know if are there any "Aleph 1.2 / Aleph 5 style" kits available?

Nope,
No more available, this gb was very limited about the costs (round 450 Euro). I think i have the Last one, this is today a "Virgin". 😉
No plan for a Second round. It was to much trouble with the finish. 😡

Do you have a source for the heatsinks? They look massive!
Without any doubt it is worth the money.
If one enjoys a 2 x 2 feet amp case with really unfavorable thermal efficiency.
Very pretty, but unrational.
Did Alex - Der Yeti post what the temperature of his design is at the 200W dissipation level of the Aleph-J ?
Hello together,
So, i asked Alex via mail and wait for a respond. Some other pics from Alex.
Please, see next answer (last sentence).Do you have a source for the heatsinks? They look massive!
I don't know how much it is, Alex said it to me but i don't remember. If one enjoys a 2 x 2 feet amp case with really unfavorable thermal efficiency.
