Select the jFETs by Idss as recommended. That's all you have to do.

I used the Toshibas (K1530,J201) on the output but didn't concern myself with any sort of matching there.

To operate, there is really no requirement that the parts be matched. I like them all matched, simply because I want both channels to match as close as possible. It just depends on how obsessive you want to be....

If the parts are mismatched, couldn't some of the discrepancy be compensated for in the bias settings? If a sensitive dB meter was used? Notwithstanding the minimal difference in distortion between channels. ?

If that means more power - same quality, i guess it will be a choice for my second amp, as i am plannig to drift to two-way active system cofiguration.
