My design L20D IRS2092+IRFI4020H 200W8R

L20D IS CAN USE THIS POWER capacitance

It have low esr.and high cirrent than 80V6800UF ONLY

They adopt capacitors made japan.

View attachment 244046 Hello, someone has that card scheme

I think the design is not reasonable.

Please refer to the IR company CLASS D design plan in the CLASS D requirements.

I recommend the use of digital amplifier special MOSFET, and digital amplifier special inductor.

If parallel MOSFET, suggest using EF driver added.

From the Reference document : "A proper input signal is an analog signal ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz with up to 3 VRMS amplitude with a source impedance of no more than 600 Ω."

It sounds to me like GIMARRO's amp isn't working at all.. Either it is defective(and should be returned), or the power supply voltages are out of range for the version of the amp.

Since Class D requires a specific power supply range to "work", the amp has Over and Under voltage protection zener diodes that will shut the amp down if the power supplies go beyond either threshold. In the L20D's case (assuming it is based on the AMP7S-200 version), over voltage protection will occur at 91V and under voltage will happen at 51V (at least according to the rating of the zeners..) So, if his power supply is outside of these ranges, the amp will shut down, or not even power up..

Thank you for your reply

Interesting amp. I bought a bunch of them off ebay for use in an active loudspeaker and was looking to pair them with an SMPS from Connex.

Would a single SMPS2000R (2000w rated) model be OK powering all six L20D modules?

Connexelectronic

Can I connect the modules directly the PSU and finally I take it I should specify 70v output on the SMPS?

SMPS is can be used to L20D. DC +-60 + 70 V.

But, switch power supply more complex than the transformer, the nominal power really can achieve?

If it is me, will see some power testing figure.

^ Be sure to post your impressions once you get them up and running.

I'm interested in some of the L25D boards. $50 for a pair of boards capable of use with 70V rails is a crazy bargain.

L25 D And L20D similar. I will it according to the 250 W 8 OHM power output. More current surplus,

Will better drive 4 OHM load.

Its MOSFET have more power reserves against the power of the test.

I'm glad you be interested.
