TSW118 is a hybrid hornloaded 4th order bandpass cab ...WSX is a sealed horn loaded cab...hyperbolic because it is somewhat has a expansion rate of a hyperbola of a cone?...

some of the voice coil I fabricate on an aramid inorganic paper and fiberglass former/ bobbin:ev dh1, celestion truvox, kicker, jbl e120, 1545 and some hifi etc....enjoy

im been using also pro-1815 crown this speaker are similar series with 1860. i used it my wsx sub. it just work fine.

im been using also pro-1815 crown this speaker are similar series with 1860. i used it my wsx sub. it just work fine.

Thanks for the info. I plan to use 186 folded horn (easier to build, IMO) instead of WSX. Does it have a huge difference in performance?
