Thank you nikosokey. 🙂
Thanks for posting ....

I am a bit confused about the rail voltages on pcb's.....
and the schematic a little.......
every thing looks same for now the Mimesis 9 and 9.2

Ok I will take some time to understand......maybe with a few silly questions..... 🙂

but for now, a small request nikosokey.......
Can you mark out all the differences on pcb's, about the components used/not used and rail supply voltage differences, in mimesis9 compared to mimesis9.2? So I can have the clear picture of these two amps?

because all I WANT is Mimesis 9 Stereo version that Goldmund manufactured
and NOT the Mimesis9.2 (Monoblock)........:-(

I m a little bit frustrated now out of confusion...
Sorry friend if i annoy you...... 🙂

OMG.... Still corrections to be done in this amp???............

How about a Hi-end preamp to match mimesis? I was considering something like this.......
Class A preamplifier
low distortion, high slew rate, s/n ratio, not sure about gain.........
Is this circuit alright?
what do you people say?.......or
Are there better or best pre-amps to match the mimesis?......

Ha, the good old days, and ELSO with his KISS amp from deep down in the Amazon. :clown:

The one from '93 you posted is not bad, just a bit high on OLG (imo), and loading the Vas to ground with R18/R19 is somewhat of a cheap trick, not particularly 'audiophile' (Pavel Macura fooled around with it a while ago, BT thread)

MAT02/MAT03 are still great devices, but even more expensive nowadays (and never were cheap)
There's a replacement for the MAT02, the MAT12, but not for the MAT03.
For a line stage, SSM2210/SSM2220 would be an alternative, but also no longer manufactured for ages.

More in line with a GM power amp clone would be a GM preamp clone.
The gain blocks as used in the earlier GM preamplifier models are likely close to identical to the ones in the Mimesis 9.
Google Mimesis 7, Mimesis 7.5, etc. , for example pictures.

Obviously I was looking for a Goldmund preamp clone/schematic. But couldn't find one. And in my search came the Elector preamp. But the components of Elector are nearly impossible to find..........
So i am still in search.........

BTW, tommy1000, is that a part of schematic of GM SRV2 beside the preamp picture?

I would be really happy and grateful if tommy or someone could post here or pm me the full schematics of GM preamp... 🙂) (if available).....

Thank you. . .
