Stalker you live in Texas right?
No I don't. It's OK to warn Texans of the danger though. I can vision SY hiking with a rifle from now on.

I find your posts amusing Peckerwood.

I can't imagine an 1100 pound hog not reproducing. I would think he could have any or every female hog he wanted to.

Amen.

I'm giving the thread starter a candy to keep it going. 🙂

ashok- just saw a movie you might like (I didn't like it much) My Dinner with Andre (Philosophical Films). They talk about this place: Findhorn Foundation | spiritual community, education centre, ecovillage

Not NDE related but there's your spiritual world. It seems you don't need to be nearly dead to have hallucinations. Grab it.

I had the stereotypical NDE a year or so ago. I was undergoing a (for me) routine medical procedure when I went into shock. I calmly told the attendant that I was getting nauseous, then that I was going to pass out, and then that I had lost my vision. I was remarkably calm about it all. I got tunnel-vision, saw the white light, and all that. Well, not ALL. No dead relatives beckoning. Just faint voices that I could not understand.

When I awoke, there was a crash cart in the room, and a lot of very sweaty people. I was the only one who did not freak out. My blood pressure had dropped to 60/30, they said. I consoled my young lady doctor and acted all avuncular. She had only been out of internship for a couple of weeks.

I told her I was dead for billions of years prior to 1947, and it was no big deal.

Wow .....that's a great one .

Considering that the "other side/dimension " has no time scale , a billion years might not mean much there though it boggles our minds in our very limited 3 D world. So you might be possibly very correct about that and that's the first time I have heard or read anyone saying that !:up:

Remember that "consciouness" is supposed to live infinitely and so a billion years would be just a speck on that scale ! Some people really hit the nail smack in the middle of the head !😀

As far as I know, it is original. Go with it. I have never started a meme. Wait, that's not right. I started "Google Ron Paul." Maybe that is not up there with "S--t happens," and "Whatever," but it got some people thinking. I think.

P.s. The evidence that consciousness is a chemical/physical process of the brain is overwhelming. When the mushy bits go, consciousness does too.

Sorry Stalker. I guess I had you confused with somebody else.

When I was a little kid I had a vegetarian baby sitter and she was very fat.

Officially there are no Panthers in Texas. A Panther by definition is any type of big cat that is black. So it could be a mountain lion, leopard, lion, jaguar and I know there is one more big cat but I am drawing a blank. It is not a cheetah though. They are not big cats.

Anyway A lot of people have seen them including me. Nobody has killed one. The one I saw I have no idea how large he was because there was nothing near him to use as a size reference and he was a long ways away. He may not have been a "big cat" but he was for sure black and did not not look like any bobcat I ever saw. If it was not a "big cat" a bobcat is the only other thing around here it could have been.

Panthers do not usually have panther parents. They are regular big cats usually with regular big cast parents but something genetic that I won't pretend to understand causes them to be black.

If a jaguar is black then it is a panther. Any big cat that is black is a panther. That would seem the 2nd most likely thing to me. Mountain lion being most likely.

I don't know how to explain that but most places say this : Black panther - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I will be the first to admit that wikipedia is not a reliable source though. Sometimes it is accurate and sometimes it is not so here is a non-wiki source:

Black Panther - Cat - Land Mammal - The Black Panther - Ground Mammals

Tiger is the big cat I couldn't think of last night.

Jaguars have the most powerful jaws of any big cat. They use them for eating turtles that other cats can't break the shell. I guess it goes hand in hand with the fact that they love to swim. All big cats can swim but most would rather not when they don't have to except for Jaguars. They love water. A Jaguar will bite the top of your skull and crush it while other big cats will go for your throat.

Cheetahs are not big cats because they can't retract their claws and they can't roar. They can purr like a house cat though. They can't run 70 miles per hour either but they can run 50 miles per hour and that is very fast. That 70 mph was an estimate but since then they have actually clocked one at 50 mph.

Death in the family

Jorge' Santoro ........passed this morning at 8:20 AM local time. He suffered from complications of Diabetes....He had one leg amputated many years ago. Was hospitalized a few days ago, no one thought much of it.Now he's gone.
He was my Mother-in-laws brother.........
He was always with us for barbecues (Common), lived downtown in a small apartment. He spent some time in the States, in California before moving down here with all of us......A kind upbeat guy, spoke decent English so I could converse easily.........So sad to see him go.

Nice attempt at incitement.

Just about anyone I know who has ever perused this forum has noted your capacity to step into threads of quality and interest..and and attempt to derail or ruin them.

Especially on a forum full of intelligent capable DIY'ers and electronics experts.

Not much less is to be expected from an ex-Lockheed Martin Employee.

Still in?
