That's not enough C's for me !!
Patrick
PS
What you see is only 1/3 of the caps for one of my AXJ monoblocks.
Another 1/3 is hidden below, and yet another 1/3 is mounted close to the power modules.
All hand matched to 1% of course. We bought 1000 in total (220uF 50V Panasonic FC).
PCBs are double sided 205um thick (normal PCBs are 35um).
And this was 2004.

I already have solutions for both.
Probably easier life for CRC as Reg means extra heat sink.
But there is a solution that is good enough for me.
We now even have a design equally good looking for MF35-100, for the single ended F5 guys.
🙂

Push button means an extra PCB with some control logic, at least a toggle.
If you want to do speaker protection, soft start, ...... (and I do), then you need an auxiliary control board anyhow.
But if you want bare minimum, then probably no switch is better. Hence the option.

SorrY for mine I have
Apem 16 mm stainles stell security vandall proof like RS components 278 1149.
This will either be taken as a Joke or put the delay the design 1 or 2 weeks.
Speaker protection sound good just think at what she will say if you blow your speakers.
I am working on it but ...
DC Detection is a low filter say 2Hz or around there, and the rest is litle 8legged critters so any pointers to other alternatives are most welcome.

Horio, Are you using external power supply ?
Bksabath, Once you have seen the pictures, you will forget the APEM switch.
(I still have 2 of them lying in my drawer since 2004)
Looks like push button is going to be default.

wow thats a nice statement and I look forward to the pics, because the APEM push buttons are the sexiest i've seen! I have them on both my current builds. I got this really sweet one that is just a flat brushed alloy disc and it doesnt push, instead uses piezo-electric energy from the finger, stays still no mechanism.

You should look at the design as a whole and see what fits, rather than getting a collection of components and then try to marry them into one design which is then never coherent.
