yes, well if you do end up doing another run of DCB1 boards put me down for 2. bit miffed I missed out, was waiting on another incarnation that hasnt materialized. BTW you might want to edit your sig to reflect the lack of PCBs
more mez boards?
tea-bag--
any plans to organize another group buy for mezmerize boards (one with input switching) but how about with regular green soldermask?
qusp. I still have some hypnotize boards left. There are no mesmerize boards.

There certainly can be another group buy.
A few things, demand has dropped a bit for Mesmerizes, so the cost would keep rising (I guess).
I have left the next iteration of the GB up to Salas. That means that him and CRT have primary control over design, and I left it to Salas how he might want to handle another group buy. If he wants to run it himself that is fine with me. I came in to help out originally since A LOT of people were hanging from the last guy who couldn't get the GB running. I fixed that, and got a fair amount of money donated to DiyAudio in the process. So my primary goals have been accomplished.
I certainly don't mind helping in another group buy in any way. Salas, CRT and all of you have been a pleasure to work with 🙂
And Lastly,
the black stuff is getting long in the tooth....
So another color would be neat.

One parcel of gorgeous black boards (nothing wrong with black, Tea-Bag ;P) arrived today, thanks dude 🙂 Stuffing all the parts I've already got, too psyched to sleep now (2am, just got back from errands after work)

Thanks Tea-Bag for making it possible for so many people. That initial bad let down you remedied. It proved worthwhile given the members response and feedback. Now for an additional small GB, don't know, never done that before, I will have to ask CRT for maybe adding those MKP 0.22 Wima positions and space for 10W Rset resistors and make it the DCB1 ''Blue'' extra run for dedicated fans. Do they make in sky blue solder mask? If we will have such a hot CCS friendly layout depending on CRT's response, and if there is demand still, maybe I will attempt it.

Oh, oh, Salas
Dedicated Fan's. I think about 1000 or so boards shipped, you have more dedicated fan's than you think 🙂
I think a 2oz copper solution would be good for people wanting to run a higher regualted PS. If not sky blue, maybe a pic of your icon would do..

Yes. With one of my 6 hyp boards I'm going to attempt a 250+ VA supply

Don't. You will burn the CCS Fet and the error amp BJT. I write in that Hypno guide the max. This is low voltage shunt. For tubes there is HV Simpler Simplistic. Unless you mean 250 as power and not Volt anode. Then its about external rectifier bridge to take it, and sinks of course.
No, sorry, I meant volts*amps... watts. I was looking at those maxes in the guide as my upper limits.
Those will be really bulky heatsinks! 250W is a lot to dissipate...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you were consuming near 250W from the PSU, let's say 245W, you will not need big heatsinks? Because the shuts will only drop 5W.
Am I on the right track?

it details which mosfets will be dropping how many watts. The CCS's drop way more.

If you will only need 5W headroom (weird) then that is that, but here is OT, lets discuss that in Hypno as a reg thread when ready to make. There you can explain me the application you have in mind.
I checked, right about 850 out the door. So I was exeggerating slightly.
OK, thats normal then.😀
Hi Tea-Bag,
Do you still have 10 hypnotize board? Please give me the cost + shipping.
I also want the mesmerize boards if there is another group buy.
I cannot find any schematic for the mesmerize boards in the thread. Is there one for a fully occupied board, say maybe a B1 psu, so that I can see how the relays are wired, where the caps are, etc?

....'cause you looked in the wrong place!
