Hi,
This morning i go foward to stage "ready to adjust" for the first chassis test. The second is on way but still need a little more work. On last serie picture my 22R pactch wire for first power on...

Expect no troubles if you'll follow the instructions and grounding schematic.

I follow them? You can follow the speaker "-" return path on picture above
=> speaker terminal=> VSSA GND=>PSU GND

It's OK, it goes to central GND. You should also shorten R23 10 Ohm resistor.
I think i miss something about "this R23"...
Marc
I saw this schematic...do you speaking from the earth case connection...mine comes from caps rank and not from VSSA GND...The 10Ohms i have here is for test 'this just a test chassis) and can be shorten simply by plug earth chasis return on a faston spad befor the 10r.

Marc
Yes you could do that way too, as tested it has to be shorted with short wire i.e. from - IN to GND on VSSA PCB.
I just went to basement to see were this R23 lay....Just for validation : it can be shorten by a wire under pcb beteween gnd spad and a little via hole not so far from spad...

Here's just a preliminary shot of a First One Mosfet Amplifier PCB just in development process.
Some "must" features expected from the First One amp:
- 100 Wrms/8 Ohm, 200 Wrms/4 Ohm, 220 Wrms/2 Ohm
- same 3 Mhz/-3 dB bandwidth as in VSSA
- SMPS400A180 power supply per channel
- 2 Ohm normal operation
- 75 x 50 mm dual layer PCB size, copper metalized up to 110 um
Expected group buy in September.
LC, it would be nice if we could use some 18 mm diameter caps on this board.
Yes also between those points too, all the ways leads to Rome hehe
That's what i've done

VSSA with BIGBT , sound interesting....Here's just a preliminary shot of a First One Mosfet Amplifier PCB just in development process.

Nope, dual-die mosfet for the output. Tried with BIGBT but lateral mosfets sounds better.
That's what i've done
That's correct. And now power on!

this afternoon ....cross all finger...
Marc
Cross finger, but think you have knowledge in this area so not nessecary to cross.
But exited to hear about your listening report, because you have done other versions too.
Myself am waiting for the last shipment in august from Andrej, so only experience till now is my old DC coupled Sansui's with VFB and SANKEN.
Very interesting to follow a 5 to 10 persons high action on different layout on the VSSA.

Voltage regulator suggestion
Hey Andrej and others
Because of the output impedance data from installation manual i have been inspired to do serial voltage regulator suggestion.
Please take a look in image and see if it is possible, hope not it is silly.

Your PSU is like to be for MM/MC preamp or for some very exotic electronics.Hey Andrej and others

Please do not understand me wrong, technically is perfect, only a little overkill for VSSA don't you think hehe
Some regulated SMPS could also be OK but if you wish to try it, I can only suggest you to go for it.
