I will re-measure the Vin at the 820R/2W, but if I remember correctly it was 26.7VDC, so obviously not anywhere close to 170VDC. Are the rectifiers not working correctly? They are soldered in, in the correct orientation.

I am using the Fairchild Stealth that you suggested a while back.........

The voltage output of the transofrmer(s) are (red wire) 160VAC, (yellow wire) 9.5VAC.

I have not measured the current as of yet, but will.

I am using the same transformers as I was with the V2 Tube-I-Zator boards from my original build 4 years ago. I am using one transformer per Tube-I-Zator board.

I found the problem. The ground point I was using wasn't grounded well enough, so I was getting flase voltage readings. I checked the ground and took new readings and got the voltage points to the correct readings. The Vout is now 150VDC (anode) and the heater is set to 6.3VDC.

Sorry for the false alarm, but everything is working correctly now. I will be listening on Tuesday night to the new Tube-I-zators. Thanks Oliver!

Hi Oliver!!

It has been a while (years) i bought your version 2.0 i tube Zator. Digging it out and now ant to hook up with my diy P.Daneil 1543 dac. I had totally forgotten what spec for the trans. So to confirm 150v for secondary HT okie with the shunt regulator add on?

Second, someone may help me for the i/v resistor value for my 1543 dac combo with this? Tqvm!!

Hi Alfred,

150VAC for the secondary is correct. You could see the details HERE.

Unfortunately i have no recommended I/V value for the 1543. I think you should search here at diyaudio.

Best regards,
Oliver
