Oh! hmm well thank you for the correction then though I thought I was reading A.C. current from my tester.....
But if your sure I can use the D.C. Bulbs then I trust your knowledge. I just need to know the best way to purchase 2 250w bulbs from you as soon as possible...
Thank you YWH

Its just a conventional Multi-meter.... I've connected A.C. to D.C. Rectifiers to it in my attempts to install a different light source but the light source didnt work....
If the input was DC on the rectifier the rectifier would not work so I concluded the current to be A.C. beacause it was converting the current when I used the tester to test it. I hope that answers the question....

Found YHW's site for lamp purchares. Could not work out which lamp. Infocus LP 500. Best lamp type available for brightest picture. Order via the site http://www.diypro.us/.
Would like to use a brighter lamp. This would mean by-passing that what shuts the projector down. External ballast and super-bright lamp, will fit a fan to cope with the additional heat.

Glue
Hi all!
I'v read you guys are suffering the glue issue.
The glue is made of Na2SiO3 ,(sorry I don't know the english name of the liquid I think it is natron - water glass) and chaolin.
It is heat resistant uo to 1300 celsius and white.
Anibody having problem to find it,I have enough to glue all bulbs of the planet.

lp350 Lamp replacement
Hi YWH,
I have an lp350 that does not have the upgraded power supply. I was wondering if it is possible to build an external ballast to run the bulb. Any ideas about the best way to go around building one? Any information would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
--Noah

glue
Hi YWH,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaolin
It is available in different particle sizes. When it's grinded softer the glue is stronger and stickier.
A company named schiedel is selling it in same plastic tubes as silicon paste for sticking ceramic chimny parts.
It's good enough for those, lazy to make it.
