Got my boards out in California, great job nice attention to detail. I am probably over thinking this but is it better to bed your crossover parts in some kind of soft material? Silicone is a no go but would hot glue or double stick tape?

I'm no expert, but I usually do zip ties and a dab of hot glue.

On resistors hot glue is not a good idea as they can get warm. RTV silicone is good for that but generally, just the solder joint is enough. The glue can help prevent any rattling though. On other components hot glue is good and use zip ties on the heavy inductors and the big caps.

Looking forward to seeing someone complete a speaker to get some impressions.

I think Veereshai was very close to having it assembled as the cabinet was built early on. Any progress?

I am hoping to have things complete quickly, but with painting I anticipate a bit of a time sink, I want the finish to be perfect, so I will take my sweet time. I am going for rustoleum semi-gloss black, with a few layers of rustoleum gloss clearcoat over that to give it some depth.
