Just to mention, I've (and my friend too) asked about the DCX2496 from some local distributors here in Finland and one in Germany.. All what they're saying is "We don't have any, and don't know when we'll get one.." and "Sorry, it's discontinued."

Good for you if you're able to get some 8)

Thanks for making the list, however after I sent out the prices, I only had 7 people respond that they definetly wanted a DCX, and 1 that they wanted a DEQ, so the thread is overly optimistic, Some of the people are outside the Continental USA and shipping will be very expensive to Europe/UK/Australia....

Update is being sent out in about 10 minutes, I'll include all the new people on the distribution list 🙂

I agree, the DCX is available in the UK for £165 inc postage. You'd have a very hard time beating that when importing and if you do, is the hassle worth a saving of a few pounds?

Great for you guys in the US though.

Yesterday I looked at the price list and saw that 7 people were committed to DCX's, so I climbed on the bandwagon. I assume there are now 8 of us- I spoke with Chris on the phone last night, and he seems like a good guy. Chris, it was nice talking with you- I don't speak with many people off of the forums who are so into DIY audio, and that was refreshing. Only a few of my friends get excited about audio stuff, and only one or two really "get it" and one-up me when we're talking about how to do stuff. I think I'd have a blast at a DIY meet.

So- come on! Aren't there two more people who will go in on this? I've already committed, but the 10 unit price will be easier to justify to my SO than the 5 unit price 😉

It was fun chatting about the hobby offline 😉 BTW: I know its kinda sketchy trusting somebody you've never met except by a screen name. If anyone else wants, e-mail me a contact number and the best time to call and I don't mind shooting the breeze for a bit 🙂 Anyone in the DFW area is welcome to drop in and listen to some music.

I lived in plano for a bit, Finally managed to move back to the city last year. I'm living in Uptown Dallas, just off highland-park. Love it here 😉
