Does the amp have good fuses in it?

Is that transistor shorted or reading really low resistance from base to emitter (ohms, no power applied)?

If not, follow the circuit back to the next transistor. Black on emitter of that transistor, voltage on base and collector with power applied.



The is a next transistor which is center leg is connected to a resistor and to the emitor of the a1543 is that the transistor that your talking?

Clean up r board with alcohol and then ill try to send you a better quality picture of the trace, and no I didn't went for a swim. The board had Grease all over it so I had to clean it with gasoline what could be damaged by using gas? To clean Grease

Not likely. This amp looks like it went swimming. If so, it may not be worth repairing.



There is a cracked diode in the remote section

2 transistors one of which pin 12 of the 494 is connected to, when tested with a multimeter I get no reading from the diode.
