Today was BS. It seems like shorthand for the actual word, and it took a lot of trying to get there.

@phase please have a look at post #3,000 of this thread (link) , where you can download and study the two thousand, three hundred and fifteen Wordle solution words, chosen by Josh Wardle before he sold the game to the New York Times. Some of them are not in the 1945 edition of the Oxford English dictionary (e.g. ADMIN), some of them are pretty darn specific/restricted to a tiny domain of study (e.g AXION), and some of them are words that end in "S" but are not plural nouns (e.g. CLASS).
Maybe you'll become horrified and decide not to participate in such gutter-adjacent wordplay as on the Wordle site, ever again. Or maybe you'll gain an advantage, to the extent that you remember some of the solution words.

xa, I know what your 3rd guess was, but did not know that was a word until just now.
Pretty easy to guess what mine was as well.

Same here, never heard of the word. I was going through different combos and I got a hit. Then I felt stupid because the solution I do know...
I had a 50/50 shot on p3 as I saw it. Used my internal " what's more likely to appear in wordle" weighting system and it failed me.
But not poutine.. for more reasons than the letter count... am I wrong?Every day would be CANADA, MAPLE, or PUCKS. Amirite?
