Wordle wiped out my stats and then my answer today. I did it in three. So far I see no way of getting my numbers back.
Went back, entered the word and got the same stats here on the ipad. No idea what’s going on.

I seem to have somone else’s stats as I have 59 played after the wipe out. I unfortunately they had not done particularly well at that point so I have more fives than threes and somehow ended up with an extra guess on one which I never had.
That sucks worse than a clean slate brother. Its been 612 days since my inadvertant restart so the sting is starting to fade 🤣
It did happen one other time and for reasons unknown a couple of days later it fixed itself so I’m hoping maybe that will happen this time but in any event since we’re only bringing back our score from any particular day, it doesn’t really matter what the total says I remember what my total was so that’s good enough for me but just interesting to read up on how many people have had this happen and how they have literally no way of recovering so if that’s that then too bad for Cal
I am using voice typing so spelling grammar might be a bit off. I am waiting in the ferry lineup to make a run across to an island for my final project after this it will be officially retirement time, but I will still be called on from time to time when my partner Decides he’s got too much on his plate
