I was in the car audio industry when they launched, living 1 hour drive away from their headquarters in the same state. That is what the sales people told all of the local dealers.
I called you a bot because in comment #156 you just quoted what I said and literally asked about it as a rhetorical question, similar to how GPT does. This entire thread is people answering your questions and you not accepting the answers.
I know it's hard to accept an answer that you don't want to hear, but trust me - the design of the solobarics was not based around isobaric pairs of subwoofers.

That's why they have different SPL competitions...cabin sealed, window down, door open, etc.hmm... likely too much scotch infused contemplation but how is a car with sub not unlike a clay whistle...???
all cars have pressure release vents....so any input stimulus windows open our not results in a narrow band "kazoo"....
spl at a single frequency is easy!!!
Trapped in a 1/2 wavelength standing wave (sealed) or a 1/4 wave (door open) ?
@BP1Fanatic You are NOT! allowed to laugh, your list of different kinds of SPLdrags sparked that idea.
I am afraid though that the discussion is getting so wide, that the solution might be answered only by knowing the color of bus drivers underpants on the way from Chicago to Toronto 8th may in 2018. Without that, we can't agree on final answer. Sorry to make it so ridiculous, but in order to continue in any discussion, we'd need to consolidate heavily. This can't be tackled.
My bet goes on one note tuning and car gain + unfair comparison of distances + masking effect. Howgh!

Looking at some of the REALLY potent car audio SPL drivers they already seem to have incredibly stiff suspension compliance and motorforce of what long ago was found in isobaric arrangements (without the penalty of the single piston area)? It's more like, judging from the responses, some audio folks find my questions upsetting enough to show their true colours. This supposed to be for enhancing pleasure, Keep it civil and leave the insults out
In an older thread, I made an observation regarding a driver on hand and how that was the chassis but with exactly twice the magnet weight and twice the coils as the base model of that series streamLooking at some of the REALLY potent car audio SPL drivers they already seem to have incredibly stiff suspension compliance and motorforce of what long ago was found in isobaric arrangements (without the penalty of the single piston area)?
Also, the observation that the next two stream tiers up doubled and quadrupled magnet weight as well as thicker and again even thicker resin infused pulp cones
But these are from the SQ series streams. The SPL series are even more extreme
Booger what's the point. The PA question is answered. I have made the effort to acquire a number of varying drivers of the SQ type in the t-rex class and with some regular and PA sub drivers being added now. My current understanding of things are based on getting hands on and upcoming work will further build context and understanding. Not interested in the SPL drivers. A serious discussion is impossible when only the bully gang are present, and the rest find a piece of their daily amusement from the spectacle
Hey man, you have your own work that you have been trying to study. I found it interesting and told you so and how I am also studying smaller ports and such. Now you come and troll what i am trying to study? I have to tell you that I find this a pitying and disgraceful display of manners on a public platform. May I ask if it is my apparent lack of formal education that is attracting this unwanted attention?@BP1Fanatic You are NOT! allowed to laugh, your list of different kinds of SPLdrags sparked that idea.

May I also please request that just please stand by and get your kicks as I move on to experimenting with practical out of the car applications with the pro mobile class of drivers. As JL Audio did with the W7 car audio driver and the studio accepted Gotham that had a couple fitted inside. Please, may I request that you and your gang not follow to troll
My interested are as important to me as yours are to you. It is pathetic that I have to combat this on this forum even when placing a request to help clarify any misconceptions
Anyway, in face of your combined attitudes, I am done with this discussion
This is what I am talking about. I am perusing my own interests and trying to expand on my understanding of things. How do you folks always manage to derive disputes instead of join using your experience to help increase the quality of the explorationsWtf? the forum is being constantly gaslighted by mr Randy….
Is it safe for anyone to engage in your threads without fear of being manipulated or labeled unfairly? You bait everyone at this point, like some sort of a game ….
I bet that would be the genuine and gentlemanly manner in which Art and GM conduct themselves in face of my lack of education, ignorance and misconceptions while recognising my determination to learn and push forwardI learn a ton from your threads thanks to those who participate in them
or is it the string of personal remarks about my presumed smoking and drinking habits. Continue feeling baited and what not, my intention is to only learn and discuss
Speaker work will continue after the deluge is over. It's been raining heavily since Friday, with a juvenile delinquency related fatal wounding next door thrown in
This bwoy needs a fully adjustable, knob per function workbench audio processor too. Such a beastie doesn't seem to exist at any decent price, but I feel I have a viable plan to achieve one. And to the benefit of anyone who would find one of use too, as always
Always welcome to join in the fun, but please refrain if you find yourself reading things that I never intended. I am not here for any negatives, either to create or invite
