Which Class-D amp to get from Aliexpress?

The PA80 uses this NJW1194 chip for tone and volume control.
You DIY guys have an opinion on this versus the PA-70 manual/physical tone controls?
which amp looks like it has better 1) likely better sound and value, 2) mod potential?
I'm guessing the tone controls could be bypassed in the PA-70 if desired and not in the PA80?
The PA70 samples the potentiometer resistance value through the ADC, maps it to the volume, and sets the NJW1194 electronic volume parameters through the MCU. This is an interesting design that reduces the potentiometer rotation noise.

Wouldn’t the distortion increase since tone and volume control is happening via a second chip instead of within the DAC.

If the volume chip was Muses72320 or PGA2320 than it’s a different thing.

NJW1194 parameters are equally excellent.
