Greece then?
Reminded me of a museum I've been to in Italy.
The building anyway, the surroundings made clear it wasn't that.
It's actually The Prison (Oi Filakes) on the Greek island of Aegina - I took the shot this morning when I popped out to get some bread. Built in 1828/29 as an orphanage for children orphaned during the Gk War of Independence, it was used as a prison for political prisoners from the late 1800's through to the Colonels' Junta (in power till 1974). It has been abandoned since then, but is now in the process of being converted into a museum. However, I would not advise you to book airline tickets to visit the museum just yet, since projects like this take many many years in Greece!
There's an interesting article about the building here: The Kapodistrian Orphanage | Discover Aegina Greece – Visitors Guide to Aegina Greece – Municipality of Aegina

Well spotted sir!Ely Cathedral?
Very good guess. Little Downham would be about halfway between where I was and the Cathedral. I was 9km away near Welches Dam.Not sure where you took the picture from, must've been a bit away, could be around Little Downham?
There worked Cornish miners, but this is outside UK.Cornwall?

This is quite hard IMO:
I spotted a female foot and some possibly Volcanic Rock. Beyond that I am beaten. 🙂

Regarding post number 96.
The castle is in the Maltese Archipelago. The islet is called Comino.

It's some sort of viewing platform or bridge on the side of a mountain or gorge. Does not look like the one at the Grand Canyon.
I know where the monument is, but I'm not supposed to google according to Steve! 🙁
Clue: A Scandanavian country would you believe!

I am still struggling to know where this place is
I went in search of Vincent Van Gogh many years ago. A magniifecent painter:
He went closer to the edge than you or me would care to go. But I visited his last home in St. Remy.
Even inspired me to take this picture. One of my best. Not bad for composition, eh? Sunflowers an' all that.
