Finally, the finished monoblocks (ICE 1200AS1)

It’s an OEM model - not available as a retail product that I know of.Hello xrk971 looking great , what coax driver is that?
Msny thanks Viet! Yes, but because my speakers are rather about 5-6 ohms, so I think the power is higher.Super nice looking! Enjoy your new amps, 600w per channel and 1200w peak power?
But my goal was a big dynamic, and relaxed playing, and yes, it sounds rock solid, fast, relaxed, just great.

Steer clear of temptation and your diyAudio visits will not come back to haunt you.
In other words, be afraid children...be very afraid.
Some of the other, non flesh eating Moderators have done you a service.
Don't expect to be so lucky with this one.
All the best my little children.
Uncle Boris.
Did fresh paste solve the problem?
I know that lint and dust collecting on the heatsink fins and fan passages caused my older laptops to overheat.

Paste did solve the problem, i tried my level best to clean the heatsink fins and fan but it is not completely clean.
Very nice……cabinets look great too 👍On the bench last night was a new 6.5in coax speaker crossover development.

The new crossover is sounding pretty great. The transients are crisp as the step response is a right triangle. This, coupled with coax point source means the imaging will be fantastic.

Easy to drive impedance.

Pretty nice bass too. The highs are from a small horn loaded compression driver (with a phase plug).
Hi, just a demo with my "The Journey" OB speakers and the IceEdge 1200AS1-based monoblocks 🙂
Many thanks, yes, here it is: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/my-open-baffle-journey.394806/
I have some news for those interested in getting more ready to run (RTR) speaker protect SSR's. I have a new GB going and will be taking pre-orders soon on Etsy. It was tough finding the components and a manufacturing house with the ability to get the parts. The Pre-order sale price is $110/pair, post GB price will be $150/pair. Component and manufacturing prices keep rising.
Please add your name to the interest list if you might want some to reserve yours today.
I have some good news to report: the new manufacturing house has or is able to get the parts to build this.
However, I will have to increase the GB pre-order price from $100/pair to $110/pair to cover the cost of the new supplier and parts cost increases.
After the GB pre-order closes, the regular price will be $150/pair so this is a great savings.
Here is the interest list I have so far. Please send me a PM or post here on this thread to confirm your continued interest.
