What’s On the Bench Tonight (OBT)

Cute kitty.
My bench is a mess but I know what's in the mess...
I added an RC filter on the power of 2k -> 22µF and that cleaned up the wiggles.
Increased it as high as my scope will read with my 10X probe.
I want a real scope LOL

This is a USB Hantek 6022B on a 10 year old laptop so I can get the same battery powered ability 🙂 If I want to try and watch the scope with music from the same laptop, I use my isolation xfmr board based on Triad TY-250P with a 1k5 and 1000pF Zobel on the secondary to make 10kHz square look good 😛
For under 20$ you get performance much better than the price would indicate 🙂
They are also gapped. You can pass 4mA in the primary.

On the bench is making a new temporary mount for an OEM AMT tweeter for a new speaker - the LSA Signature 60. An AMT variant of the Signature 50. 3D print fits perfectly.

Next comes measurements of the raw driver responses in the baffle.

On the bench is a HyperDrive-2 headphone amp with a thermal issue on the 90v DCDC converter. I am using a FLIR One IR camera to see if the temps are anomalous vs a known working unit. These IR cameras are now very affordable and becoming a standard tool to have on the bench. The camera is tiny and plugs into my iphone.
