I found a source here in Spain that strangely seems to keep supplying them. They are an audio repair shop. I’ve used several so far and they sound great. I posted a photo here and they seemed legit, but a bit old stock.

its always shows out of stock for me.

Have someone in Europe or North America get them for you.
They track you, and for some reason the people there see it as available.
India is a low priority market for TI.

I just log in and check in passing. Normally to do with something completely different. You know how it works the moment you stop searching for something it appears right in front of you ... 😆

My understanding is that TI (and others) took away the stock notification because it was being used by the grey-market 'dealers' to grab inventory. As mentioned by blu, I find it best to check TI (or Digi-Key or Mouser, etc.) regularly for the things I need and sometime I find the small DIY quantities showing up as in-stock. In spite of what you hear in the media about demand going down, it doesn't seem to me to be reflected in availability for small customers like us. There are still a lot of things I need (including common resistors and capacitors) showing out-of-stock and very long lead times.

Can someone tell me the difference between the LM3886 and the LM3886T?

The LM3886 comes with a metal tab, that’s the “T” and a version with a fully insulated case, the “TF”.

There isn’t actually a “LM3886” that has no suffix.

LM3886T/NOPB is the metal-back version with lead-free solder on the pins.
LM3886TF/NOPB is the insulated version with lead-free solder on the pins.
LM3886TF is the insulated version with leaded solder on the pins.

The chip inside is the same. The difference is in the packaging and pin finish.
