What would you choose over SB29SDAC/RDAC?

Have you tried the TW034 with the Jantzen waveguide?
Yes, its the best suitable WG I've found for it so far, but I have to let the cat out of the bag here and mention something. The Jantzen TW034/T35C002 WG is actually a close copy of the WG used in the first gen EAW JF60Z speaker. I was surprised the.first time I discovered this when got a pair from ebay and compared them side by side. They are almost identical in terms of the geometry. The only difference is the Jantzen WG is a solid machined piece of plastic whereas the EAW is injection molded with open cavity spaces. Otherwise they measure and sound identical. The bolt pattern is the same as well.

If I had the monney I would try a SS 99000... maybe with a 24 dB electical... but the price...wow...that price and without beyrillium ! I joke, SS drivers are always been expensive but the discovery serie...

How measure the classic 5" WG like the Visaton & Monacor against the 5" from augerpro ? or three are tottaly different ?

dunno but at least less high.

Really wonder if some heard it here or at Part-Express forum perhaps ! Their coax are well rated for diy, there is a project here if at Diya if I'm not wrong.

I do not know if an impedance notch at the half of the fall could permit to use it at 1800 hz you plan. On the datasheet they say 1500 hz but datasheets are always optimistic.

There is a thread on a German forum http://www.hifi-forum.de/viewthread-104-30935.html (use google translate)
He ended up liking it a lot.
