The Netflix series coming out of S. Korea are just wonderful Highly recommend "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", also "Crash Landing on You", both on Netflix.
My wife binged the entire 16 episodes of Attorney Woo.
The Korean series are refreshing, removed of the Hollywood fakeness and arch-insincerity. I recommend watching in the original language with subtitles to accommodate you native language.

Disney+ Andor, what a huge surprise; I’m sure George wishes he could imagine and write as compelling and honest an ensemble of characters.
And for X-mas shizen giggles, Spirited; it’s like LaLaLand and Baz Lurhman’s Moulin Rouge had a love child. Not Will Ferrell’s biggest fan, but I thought both he and Ryan acquitted themselves well enough in this frothy little piece. Now all we need is a Reynolds / Jackman collaboration.

BTW, there are several spin-offs of Yellowstone, some released, some in the works:
- 1883
- 1883: The Bass Reeves Story
- 1923

Just saw Black Adam, I think it's a GREAT movie.
I can not understand why it only scores only 6.4 on IMDB, it is a refreshing departure from the clichés used ad nauseum in most other superhero movies, very satisfying to get a slightly more nuanced plot that knocks the overly simplistic good vs evil with a perfect uppercut. And the "ending after the ending" so to speak made perfect sense, I said to my kids who the mastermind was at first glance near the beginning and it was correct.
Black Adam - in my view: while it has it's flaws, is about the same quality level as Spiderman Homecoming, mostly because of the performances by Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan. The level of humour is kept light but the humour itself is dark, which is very fitting.
While Hawkman (Noah Centino) was very annoying, that was the role he was supposed to play and he did get a humorous but well deserved "slap in the face" somewhere in the middle there. He played his part well since he managed to trigger our reactions by pushing those clichés just like he was supposed to.

I finally bought Wim Wender's "Until the End of the World" on DVD. I've been wanting to watch this since 2001 when someone told me I would like it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
The soundtrack is one of my favorite CD's too.

"Hornblower" with Gregory Peck and Virginia Mayo. I read all the Hornblower books when I was travelling to Africa in the early 1970's (and all of Ian Fleming too!)
You may like some of the Commodore Grimes books, A. Bertam Chandler. Space-opera, but Chandler was a fully experienced ships-officer and captain from England in WWII through Australia in the 1960s. As a true Captain it does not matter if his engine is galley slaves or light-sails... he has boffins for that. His interactions with crew, superiors, mayors, bees, whoremasters, etc, mostly all ring true.I read all the Hornblower books

I just sent an email to the person maintaining the A. Bertram Chandler web page, a lot of those books on Amazon do not ship to Norway for some reason, and might as well get it from Australia as anyplace else. You may like some of the Commodore Grimes books
I don't think that has been maintained for many years.A. Bertram Chandler web page
Also the original pulps are now very tatty.
Jim Baen bought reprint rights. I bought the ABC books as e-books long before Kindle really arrived. As e-books they don't care where they ship?
