Midnight Mass. Great concept and beginning, but as the episodes went on they started introducing these long and terribly written dialogue scenes that must have been absolutely soul crushing for the actors to pull off. It was so cheesy and Hallmarky and didn't fit the creepy overall vibe the show was building in the first few episodes. If felt like somebody giving a TED talk but then completely losing their train of thought but continuing the presentation hoping nobody would notice.

Finished GOT. I didn't find Season 8 all that bad, if a bit rushed in the end. The beginning of it did feel like a proper continuation of S07.

Started The Sandman but haven't given it the proper attention it may deserve. Will retry. I liked American Gods though I think it could have been better.

We went 200 miles south this weekend and saw someone else's Osprey nest-- still on apparently live wires. 😵 They neglected "our" osprey nest until it took fire and blacked-out a town, then they set a separate pole and platform for the birds. (They did not put a wiper on the camera, which is why our images look like bird poop.)
I enjoyed season 3, in fact thought it was better than 1&2. Not so for season 4, moronic writing and directing.
