Man of Steel,
I'm not a fan of Superman, however I was sitting in the same room.
I thought it was a pleasant SciFi change to the comic book type..

M. Gregg

Many negative reviews but myself personally I did enjoy it, and in 3D.

Indeed - even on the in flight headrest screen on Airbus 319 - definitely worth a second visit for sumptuous interiors of the Hotel.
Fabulous acting and fun to hear the English language spoke so good, eh?
Planning to see either of those tonight, in full 1080p and surround (including custom stands for subwoofer and fronts, custom Speaker cables):

Elysium,
Lots of robot cops and how you would expect them to be. Quite good I thought. Agile and quick.
The wheel in space and the haves and have not's. A bit violent in places and a couple of characters from district 9.
With tube amp sound of course..🙂
Regards
M. Gregg
Got it on Blu-Ray, looking forward to seeing it. My SET tube amp isn't yet ready though, but long term, I am planning to get a full tubed surround - yeah! 😱)

** 'Cairo Time': Directed by a Canadian, Ruba Nadda, and shot on location in Egypt, embark on a sweet romance, while sharing the viewing with your better half.
Very, very bad movie.

I liked it. ...Not immensely, but good enough.
Ok, it's a bad flick.
Well, what do you expect? ...It's a chick flick! ...Time to get naked on the couch.
Solo? Thanks for the image 😉
Had a two legged flight yesterday (YYZ to YYJ return -waiting the extra hour for the direct return rather than stop-over in YVR after 13hrs was well worth it, AFAIC), so of course there's time to kill, and most of the "contemporary" offerings will be a few months stale, it's probably already been mentioned, but I quite liked "Winter's Tale" . A little bit of a schmaltzy romantic / action fairy tale fantasy for sure- if that makes it a chick flick, I can live with that.
OTOH, the first little bit of "Her" made me feel I needed a shower. I gave up at the "dead cat" phone session - maybe by that time it had already been too long a day for that kind of fare - did it get any better?
Hi Chris,
* 'Winter's Tale': I've yet to see that one; I've heard lots of good things about that 'chick flick'. ...Fantasies are good in the real world we live in.
* 'Her': Another 'chick flick' and 'computer's nerds' one too. ...No fantasy here, this is the real world!
..."Shower, 'dead cat' phone session", and all that jazz; it can't get any better than that!
😉😀
