Last stage of the Giro d'Italia.

Amazing speed! ...And huge and tight peloton.
Finished watching Canadian Eugenie Bouchard defeat her opponent to move on to the semi finals of the French Open.
Not the same story for Milos Raonic.

Ya, I saw about one million cute cat videos; which one was it Chris? 😀

Last night I watched a great film on Blu-ray ::
Highly recommended.
Lots of going on nowadays: 100th anniversary of First World War, D-Day (June 6), China Tiananmen Square anniversary, War Veterans in Canada and USA, Elections in Syria, hostages exchange (American and Taliban leaders), Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, ...
So this film is right on line with historical facts. ...Based on true events.

Last night LAK won the first game in OT. ...I think NYR will be coming back with verve.

Finally got around to Elysium last night - not too sure I liked it as much as Oblivion (maybe it needed a pool scene 😉 - or was just buttoned up too neatly in the last 5 minutes) - but damn - there's virtually nothing you can imagine that a literal army of effects artists and technical production can't make look real enough to suspend your disbelief - sometimes there's even a story and characters you can care enough about to ask - what's next?
gee, when I look back at last 6 months or so viewing, it does seem to be all over the map - both big screen feature films and "small" screen series - maybe some counseling required - but wait, no Duck Dynasty or Honey BooBoo, so maybe there's hope yet

... - what's next?
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire?

The Notebook
Edge of Tomorrow
and haven't revisited How the West was Won, or Lawrence of Arabia since before I was married (remember 70mm / CinemaScope / "Full Stereo" sound - pretty impressive for a 12 yr old kid )
