Luck Reunion- Willie Nelson's annual festival called on account of plague

not to be too much of a semantic dick about it, but I think ‘the plague’, is generally considered to be bacterial, not viral?

Not exactly ‘fun’ reading, and all things considered we’re probably still luckier today than medieval serfs Outbreak: 10 of the Worst Pandemics in History

And yes, I know there are currently at least two threads on the subject.

"Strategic Air Command" starring the B-36, B-47, and, in a minor supporting role, Jimmy Stewart. I've seen it many times, but never in HD sight and sound on a big screen. I never realized just how good the aerial photography was. It must have been spectacular to see and hear it on the big movie screens of its era. Free on demand on PlutoTV.

And "American Made" with Tom Cruise horsing around an Aerostar. A factually fast and loose account of the shenanigans that actually went on in a small town and airport just a bit south of here. Fun to watch. YouTube TV on demnd.

Read in the newspaper this morning that Netflix claims their currently most highly viewed program is Tiger King. To quote HL Menken - one of the more prescient wits of record - “no one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public”. That’s kinda impossible, isn’t it?

Two episodes of "Следствие вели..." ("The investigation was ...") on Youtube.
This is a long series of criminal cases from the Soviet era (pre 1992-93).

The most recent wer about Viktor Tsoy, one of the most famous rock stars, who died in a car crash aged just 28.
And about Igor Talkov, one of the most aggressive anti-socialist artists, who was shot and killed backstage during a concert.
