Various UFO disclosure docs. Looks like things really picked up last month with a whistleblower. I wasn't paying attention, was busy.

Fun stuff, although various people have been saying the very same things for decades, so what's new?

What's new is people in Congress taking things seriously now.

It could also be timing this as a case of look there not here to make people overlook the rampant Corruption everywhere.

And this Saturday is International Fight Week and a crazy Main Card for the UFC. If you've never watched one or if you ever watch only one, watch this one.

Bird of Paradise is pre-code Hollywood.

Enjoyed the final season of Jack Ryan. The "rah rah 'merica" crap holds it back, but still very good.
Enjoying Secret Invasion, which is surprising because I always hated the Kree/Skrull storylines in comics. Really enjoying this season of Star Trek SNW and how they are exploring individual characters, but I have always been a Trekkie.

I subscribed to stacktv. It allows you to compile or yes stack television companies together and movie streaming from all the popular names.

If your in one of the access regions check it out, theres a 2 week free trial.

All that said I'm picking up the curse of oak island episodes I missed last season.

I probably won't replace current full 4k fibre optics from local supplier but its a good backup and movie source.

Still burning through a free trial period of Disney+, and while I’m so over much of what they’re trying to pass as fantasy entertainment these days, I am quite enjoying the National Geographic back catalog. Currently on the 2018 series One Strange Rock. Note that it’s hosted by a pre-slap Will Smith, so that might be a no go for some folks, but the cinematography is stunning.

Oppenheimer.
By now I think any of us interested have read initial reviews, and there really aren’t any surprises to students of 20th century history, but I’m still very much looking forward to Christopher Nolan’s latest masterpiece. He was so devoted to filming it entirely in IMax, that they had special film stock developed for the B&W sequences. Unfortunately, the only remaining 15/70 film cinema in BC is in Langley on the mainland*, and with the cost and delays in getting off the Island these days, I’d have a hard time justifying that trip; so it’ll be me and my son this coming week at a local Imax laser cinema.
Funny thing is, this is one of those Cineplex multiscreen theatres and another major attraction showing at the same time is Greta Gerwig’s Barbie - can anyone name such a dramatic contrast amongst current films playing at the same complex?
Anyone interested and with a 15/70 theatre within affordable distance should definitely take it under consideration.
* if my Googling is correct, there remain only a total of 30 cinemas world wide running the old school 15/70 film projectors.

I think the same complex might be showing Barbie, so maybe there’s something there for her and sisters/nieces? That’s apparently a thing now; there’s an article in todays local newspaper showing a family group attending together- I hear you get a discount on your popcorn if you’re all wearing pink.😉
