Distilled water contains no minerals. It tastes like garbage to me, bitter, nasty.
Artificial sweeteners of any sort are are simply un-natural. Besides the fact that I am allergic to aspartame, and can't stand the bitter aftertaste of the rest.
I'll stick to my cane sugar. At least I know what it will do to me.

Not Reeds but Ginger beer nonetheless.Reeds Original Ginger Brew
Straight up with a twist of lemon.
I am being a good boy these days.
I've never had a Red Bull. I did try an off-brand energy drink once, can't remember the name. Tasted like something you might drain out of a car with a blown head gasket (presumably); and for the next few hours I felt really weird & unsettled, like I was skipping a court date or something. Kinda soured me on the whole category.
Still, that can has such nice friendly colors... The font so clear and bold... Hmm...

^^ This is the natural one, not the "chemical" one.
And it`s more like a better Coca Cola than a energy drink.
It has a lot of natural flavours.
Very good when ice cold.

What ThinkPad do you have?
I have a T40 and got a new HDD some years ago and a new battery, but the battery is dead and the HDD too, maybe due to too much rest ...
Installed a pre-owned HDD but though I have set a the boot order starting from an USB-stick, the darn T40 starts from the HDD ...
Good you reminded me - time for coffee and blackthorn liqueur (homemade).

It's a T440p I've got an intel solid state drive in it. After about six failed HDD's in less than 2 years the desktop support team got me a SSD. This is actually the second laptop it's been in. Got them to reformat it and put it in the "new*" laptop when the other one was EOL (it was a T410)
This one has another year to go (they keep them four years) but the screen has lines down the right hand side, and it blue screened on me the other day and then when it rebooted said there was no HDD... powered it off and pulled the battery after that it came back up fine. I suspect that the heatsink is getting clogged with dust and it is starting to overheat.
Tony.
*it was actually a hand me down but whoever had it before me had hardly used it, it looked almost brand new.

My soapy absinth. Darn, the sugar is hardly burning, so I guess the 65% alcohol content is lower.😡
To enhance the taste a little, added a few dashes of Angostura Orange.

Just tried some Kambucha (Synergy brand) , basically a "health drink" made from fermented teas. It tasted delicious, with hints of wine. Then I read of its potentially dangerous side effects, and decided not to drink any more. :-(
