I could hover mouse pointer over (say) your name on the left, like here, and see where you are from, I can still do that.
And your date and time of joining still appears...that is not a problem, just tells others how long you have been a member here.

Added to that I could see your user name, real name and e-mail. There was no need to go to members list area, I could see details just by hovering pointer.

Not longer happening now, it got my attention during the software / format change that took place recently.
Thankfully, that bug is gone.

Possibly, some settings went to default (of the software, it is a template sort of thing after all), and were gradually set to the older settings (those in the older software), so we are back to a more safe site.

I'm going to say that allowing a single user to issue multiple reactions to the same post is very unlikely to be implemented. It would require a modification to the core system to start with, and the rationale would be hard to argue. . . .

I'm musing on this question: "What is the verb for thumbs up"? Thank you gets "appreciated" Like get "liked", so if I give you a thumbs up, it would translate as Gerard V <verbed> your comment. What is the verb? Is it also "liked", or what? "Cheered"? maybe or "supported"? Any ideas?

Is there a single verb? Thumbs up is a rather universal expression of affirmation where the intended meaning can usually only be derived from the context in which it was used. Sometimes like, or thanks, or appreciation, etc. I understand it's labeled as "Like", but being the only reaction for years has broadened it in to so much more.

How do you use advanced search to search through one thread you're reading.

I can't always use the "search this thread" near the bell icon to look back for something, because the results are not in date order and there may be hundreds to look through.
