vinodt1347 musicality of this device and the Dac (ES9018) overdone and inflated as producer (great marketers bother) and manufacturers like Buffalo and other (audiolab). It sounds like a typical Dac average (not like the cheap of course).
and I repeat, does anybody have a measurement of DAC7 or DAC9 (by Weiliang) in RMAA or others???

Hi, I cant afford to get a ES9018 DAC and I think you may be right not sure how much better it can get. Dont get me wrong. The DAC7 and every other DAC do sound good.

I want to use DAC to measuring purposes. I need that exact digital value of input will do exact voltage or current value on analog output, include DC value of course.
This can be done by software setup (by windows) or hardware setup directly with pins on DAC chip. I can do both.
Please recomend.

audio dacs are not 'instrumentation dacs'. they dither (as one post-process step) and try to make the wave sound 'good'. this is not the same job as an HP or tektronix measurement dac.
not sure you will be happy with audio dacs. depending on how much resolution you expect, of course.

I will be happy with 16 bit resolution but I need only pure sampled data without any computing.

Always when the deep tones come, the highs sound strange. They're sounding like the DAC got out of power and very fading...
Already ordered some OPA627 but I don't know if they'll solve the problem...
You got any advice for me?

In addition the left Channel is a bit louder than the right channel, but I might be wrong with that cause that's subjectively...
It just sounds like the deep tones are mixed with the highs and that sounds very strange. Sorry for the description, it's very complicated to describe that sound 😉

Alright, that brings me some relief 😉 Thank you! I'm about 20-30 hours now and it already got better than a few days before but it's still there and hearable at a little higher volumes.
