Thanks Scaper for weighting them. Are the two horns stacked on top of each other to save space?
No, they're pretty much stacked side by side, back to back, with their throats next to each other.
Here's a photo that sort of shows what I mean:

Have any of the 18" SEOS's been built yet? A sonogram would be interesting to determine if bigger is always better or if there's a point of diminishing returns as far as controlled directivity is concerned.
A local guy tested the 15" yesterday and he was impressed. So it looks like the SEOS has been successful. The guys at AVS did a good job working together to get the design figured out. And Jzagaja and Autotech's work on the prototype looks great too.
EricH, do you have any measurements? What CD was used?
Thanks!!
DE250 was used and he said it can easily be crossed at 900hz to a 15". Horizontal and vertical's measured great.
Doug, I shipped all 3 of your Iwatas a few days ago. If you don't have them right now, you will on Monday! 😀 I believe shipping was a little less than quoted, so that's good. Hoping you'll be impressed with my packaging!
Guys, keep in mind that the second group buy is underway. In a few days, I will post a list of current orders and more info on the website. If you want something, don't hesitate this time around.

The ones I have are about 42lbs each counting how they wrapped them at Autotech. A pallet will weight about 30-50lbs on it's own depending on how it's built.
Figure my packaging will add at least 25lbs to that.

Hi jzagaja,
What kind of material is the stone imitation exactly? How is the resonance characteristics? What colors does it come in? I am into a much darker stone / concrete color so I am wondering if that is possible.

It's still polyester quite expensive so we are not going to offer it but we use quartz instead for solid surfaces.

Is the pricing of seos-raal available?

Sorry I didn't reply earlier.
SEOS-Raal in the US is $190 for each one.

I'm in the process of getting my site updated. It should be done soon.
Im assuming the SEOS-18 will have a 2" or 1.5" throat??
I makes little sense at all to have a 1" throat on it.

Very much disagree. Say, if you want to cross at 900hz, the 18 is ideal and the DE250 is perfect in this case. Perfect for crossing to 15" drivers. Check the Geddes thread where he said that an 18" waveguide would be perfect for crossing to a 15" woof.
