So $500 per pair ($2000 + $800) = $2800 total?? Is that $2800 US or EUR?
I need 3 other friends in the US or Canada that would be interested. I travel to Canada twice a year so I can take a pair or two with me on that trip.

Yes I have but I haven't contacted those people yet. We could add only a few to the Mummies. First Iwatas will be shown on 6-7 November during Audioshow 2010 in Warsaw.
If you can get them on a pallet already being shipped then I would like to order a pair of the mummies. I would assume the shipping cost would be a percentage of the pallet.
Im in no rush either.

How do I put myself on that buy list?? Autotech Group Buy - Autotech I guess I have to sign up, correct?
I see there are a couple of individuals already interested in the Mummies from the US, We should have a full pallet (4 pairs ) very soon.

Some more questions from others
Also, which 1" Compression drivers will fit the best? Do you have an optimal CD mouth angle?
I am looking for more info though. What is inside the cabinet? how resonant are they? how does the compression driver and woofer mount? is there a wood frame inside to bolt onto? Etc.

Just screw your woofer to MDF and use threaded rod on compression driver. We tried special polymer sound damping material but there was no difference. Classic bitumen plus felt does the job. You can easily feel vibrations on a whole cabinet with RAW fiberglass. WG has 14 deg throat angle and most drivers will fit. I was comparing Mummies to $30.000 speakers like ASW Magadis with AMT and they were slightly smoother so better use ringradiators for highs (haven't checked yet).

Thanks!
Those details are perfect, Im not sure you saw my other question but I will post it again. Are there different color options? Like Gloss Black?
It seems like the group buy list is almost set with a full pallet of "mummies" going to the US. What is the ordering deadline?

Almost any color from RAL palette is possible also black gloss and metallic (gelcoat metallic may look textured sometimes). At the middle of November we can start making pellet of Mummies. For shipping check:

So what is the price tag of a complete speaker kit? Im getting more interest then I expect so I need to get all the information possible. We could be ordering 2 pallets.
Any shipping costs to Canada? There was a question about getting an order into Canada.

Ok we calculated cost of Mummies enclosure and it is $670/pair. You need extra stuffing e.g. felt+bitumen and stand - on the picture you could see bianco carrara marble. Shipping of one pellet is between 500-800$. I haven't call Polamer yet. Can you? For those who want experiment with CD waveguides (installed in Mummies) I warn passive crossovers are complex here and require some experience. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on tweaking otherwise speed up with digital.
With 65 liters you can hardly get 50Hz at 98-100dB/1W/1m so take into account lowering total efficiency or add bandpass subwoofer - for example 20 liters ported and 40 liters closed with 12" aluminum bass driver - 30Hz at 91dB. Mummies were designed for multisub setup. We chosen low mass wide bandwidth 12" bass/midrange without Faraday's rings - 100 liters is usually too large for most 12" PA woofers.
