The second place for a long time was Jim Backus as Mr. Magoo.

Also up on the all time list is James (Jimmy) Stewart.

Now for a sidetrack, most folks can recognize popular singers, what is interesting is that today that list is heavily weighted to women. Of course most here are identifying men.
