Very simple quasi complimentary MOSFET amplifier

Hi Patrick,

You could use 6.3VW electros; this position only sees -1.62V across it; not much, and it starts out at 0V so no chance it will be destroyed UNLESS the output device(s) gives up.

Try a 2N5401. Not as much gain, but still very linear and Vceo of 150V.

Cheers,

Hugh

Meanman,

If you are having difficulty locating 2200uF / 6V3 as Hugh suggests, then feel free to substitute a 1000uF cap. Your ears won't know the difference (I've tried both) - the only difference is visible on a scope trace with square waves.

I've all the caps exept two 2200µF/16V but i do have the 6V3 version and also doesn't have the KSA992 transistors

The 2sA970 will work as well and it has the same pinout as the KSA992 and about the same gain.

Yes,i've used this KSA97O instead of KSA992 many times in Slewmaster IPS
Some progress in metal work.
