I'll try, I was successful a couple of years ago, but I'm on a different PC now.

change the 8r0 load to 2r0 and then run.
probe Ic and Ib of Q8 and Ic of Q7

Pic left shows a zoomed in view of the protection oscillation
Pic right has the input voltage reduced from 1.6Vpk to 1.347Vpk, still feeding 2r5
There is very noticeable distortion in the -ve voltage output but the protection is not on and thus no oscillation.

Why is the smaller attachment more than double the file size?
Same software (Irfanview) to capture and save.

I would guess because the dimensions of the original are different, 1063/726 vs 1263/853

Do you see the file sizes as 116kB and 44.9kB?
My view properties does not reveal that.
It's the file size on my desktop that shows them as different.

In turn by clicking each picture to its full size (and then right click it to see the properties)we have the left picture then the right picture. Finally the files as uploaded.
