Only a resistor was good on the Partridge, Jensen needs R+C. Subjectively the treble opens up and some edge reminding mild mistracking goes out. It can be somewhat judicious for exact R+C values regarding synergy with a certain preamp and system.
Yes. I think its sometimes a matter of how "lively" treble your ears and the rest of the system likes it. R/C narrows some bandwith so exaggerating can easily make it dull.

Use 5-10mV RMS input to Jensen and make the scale on the screen taller and narrower so to watch the edges better on its secondary.10KHz square shots with scope set 20mV 20uS probe x1.
10mV RMS after SUT with RC network 6K8 + 100pF
measurement not valid
Measurement without RC
Something's slow in the measurement loop for 10kHz squares to pass properly. Anyway it still changes with the RC on the second screen, the proper square measurements I have posted already for exact same transformer (#1836) so just apply the Zobel and if you want somewhat different C value you can do it empirically.
You posted 100pF with long cables and guessed 130 or 150nF in build, I have SM 100pF, 68pF & 18pF????
Fortunately I have on my stash a couple of Shinkoh 6K8🙂
