Salas with scope set 1mS 0,2V/cm nothing but when I go to 10mV/cm or 5mV/cm the scope line moves slowly up and down.
The part that comes from tubes no, its noise physics. But load the output with as much as the next stage's volume pot is so to see on the scope if its lower variation in the real system because the output capacitor goes closer to DC on the very high probe's impedance
Do you ever see woofers going in and out like that when the TT isn't playing but the phono is on and selected by the way?
I'll check tomorrow and let you know. BTW I use AVC from Intact Audio (auto former volume control) and the 26 preamp or only the AVC feeding the power amps with input impedance of 100K.
