I don't know, these kits look nice modern and affordable, check feedback and reviews about those and decide if to risk a purchase? They will need some kind of practical boxing work too.

It nice in the small suitcase. Do they sell that "Duo Vac" front plate that screws in the suitcase separately?

There is μTracer 3+ also which is a PC RS232 connected tracer. Not simpler, more expensive, but gives curves. The uTracer, a miniature Tube Tester / Curve Tracer.

Yes he sells "on request" the suitcase portable tube tester.

µTracer 3+ is DIY cost 220€ and it seems the RS232 doesn't works properly.

Should you go through with the E2833CC mod know that these are as close to the famous TFK ECC803S as you can get.
Less distortion, lower noise, no microphony I can remember, frame grid construction and so on. But like most low distortion valves, not to everyone's liking.
