I don't know how it sounds, nor if it is worth the hassle, but as with all your builts it looks absolutely perfect!

Thanks all for the comments!
For me it was well worth it just for the extra 2.2V on the PSU. I will give it a listen during the week.
Ciao!

Hi Do,
Excellent LT4320 "Rehab" done to your psu boards. I think you’ll find this mod to be well worth the effort 😀
Cheers!

Nice build. You may try the Quasimodo-rig and populate the snubber pads on the boards, too. It's a noticeble difference (less harsh and cleaner midrange).
Thanks. More progress... Banana-yellow heat shrink tube

Q1/Q2 and Q3/Q4 are matched with 2,8% and 4,9% per pair 😎.
Now I'm waiting for the power transformer to arrive 🙄...

Nfsgame, you win the prize for the best looking input stage 😛
And possibly the best match too...

Snubber shouldn't make a difference on the LT4320 as it does not use diodes, so there should not be ringing. I know it does on the diode bridge. I have another LT4320 that I've setup on a class AB before making the change on this one and I could not tell a difference between snubber and no snubber on that amp. So I desoldered the snubber as I've been told it is not required on ideal bridge.

Any update on your build?

Hey,
I'm still waiting for my ordered transformer from poland. The two boards and the chassis are ready to be powered. But without a power supply I can't go on...

Dreaded postal service.
All my international shopping was also not here as early as late January..
Fab any more interesting design?

Is your transformer from Toroidy in Poland? If so, I think you will be pleased. I have had excellent quality transformers from them in the past.
I’m waiting on 2 quiet fans for mine. They are supposed to be here soon. The fans I have in it sound like a small helicopter is in the amplifier. Not nice in my quiet listening room.
