the 5 hz ?
Low frequency electromagnetic waves can propagate between the surface and the ionosphere of Earth causing a resonance that was first studied by Schumann in 1952. This Schumann resonance is related to lightning activity and climatology.

Some of a less scientific bent say the frequency of 7.83 Hz is Mother Earth’s natural heartbeat rhythm and endow it with healing properties.

@Galu , bloody hell, how much meters is 7.8 hz ?!
Nasa researcher : definition : a guy who is ready to send a man to death with a one way ticket to Mars to keep his job and good incomes and explaining this is fantastic and a gift to the human species to conquer the universe w/o pulling the flush here biut eventually found foam technology for our beds.
I would like they focus on how reducing the sky pollution... sorry I mean the global warming.

The fundamental Schumann frequency has a wavelength of over 38,000 km.
44 meters are unaceptable for protcology ! Me run to build myself a concrete anti alliens shelter !I'd put the healing properties of the Schumann frequency in the same box as alien proctology!
pseudo skeptics
Pseudoskepticism is a form of dogmatism, which refers to any belief which is held unquestioningly and with undefended certainty.
A quick google informed me of that!
As a scientist, I am quite the opposite of a pseudo skeptic, always questioning and always seeking certainty.
Be free thinkers, guys, and never let your brain die!
This just in!
If only that pulsed electromagnetic field technology could modify genetic regulation in the human brain at a cellular level, it could prove a revolutionary cure for UFO dogmatism!
Russell's teapot is back in orbitPseudoskepticism
@Galu, Pseudo skeptics never think they’re the pseudo skeptics. It’s always someone else.
Real skeptics don’t normally have knee-jerk reactions to statements or claims, they investigate, they’re curious. “I have too much education to fall for that” is the oldest logical fallacy in the book. And when presented with evidence that contradicts their firm beliefs they oft resort to name calling.
The real proof of any outrageous claim or device is if you show it to a PhD in physics he laughs so hard milk squirts out of his nose. QED

Real skeptics...
I must be a real skeptic because I am regularly investigating new scientific claims, many of which turn out to be experimentally unverifiable hypotheses.
