Ferrite core. 😊
Probably that's why one sounds a little louder, the one with 1.5mH
Watch the youtube clips - Danny Richie from GR-Research
hahaha Danny the man !
Now you have to decide which one you like better, the quieter or louder one, so make the appropriate inductors 1.5mH or 1.63mH or something in between. You can reduce the existing 1.63mH by unwinding, thread by thread and measuring until you stab 1.5mH.

i have to look at my measurements again to see which one is smoother
Try to keep them away from other things and move each one to the same spot to measure it.
im gonna have to solder them out of the circuit tomorrow and re measure
i just measured on the board with my LCR
The cap in the low section (of course) comes after the coil. But all in all a very elegant and simple setup, be it that the baffle step correction seems quite heavy with 1,5mH on parallel woofers.I'm going to assume they go to the amp as a "bi-wire with jumpers" set of terminal posts.

Ok now that things are clear.
what changes will it take for me to shove this tweeter in there?

thank you in advance for all the help!

Try replacing jumpers on terminals with some wire.
As for 1R5, just short the ends of the resistor with wire. That's max. high frequency with existing tweeters. Then try less than 1R5 if it's too much.
I replaced the stock jumpers with OFC 101.
helped a bit
Can you post the tweeter cap values please. I can't tell what they are from the pics. And specify which one is which.
pardon for that
cap values are 6.8uf and 8uf for the tweeter
inductor is 0.2mH with a DCR of 0.3ohms for the tweeter
resistor is 1.5ohms for the tweeter
bass - cap is 16uf and inductor 1.50mH with a DCR of 0.3ohms
If the topic initiator agrees, the moderator can always merge both into one topic. It's just a suggestion, of course, that no one gets angry please. 🙂
yes I have done so already.
thanks.
Did you measure the values of all caps and coils?
yes I did. See above
